The partition where I have the Windows XP installed is
running out of space . I have another hard disk on which
there is enough disk space and would like to know if it
is possible to have XP look to the new disk for the
WINDOWS/SYSTEMROOT . or tranfer the windows folder to the
new area withiut reinstalling XP
This was i would avoid having to reinstall windows XP.

Hi

Your best way is to extend the partition that XP is installed on with a program such as Partition Magic - www.powerquest.com Trying to move XP to the other partition is hazardous at the best of times if not impossible. All the Windows settings are in the Registry and trying to amend that isn't advisable.

My suggestion is to uninstall some of the applications you have on the drive
that contains XP and re-install them to the other drive.
