OK, I guess I'm starting to narrow down this problem.
Obviously, a 2.5GB OS installation on a 3GB hard drive
just plain won't work. No room for programs.
My initial installation was 980MB and then I made the
mistake of downloading a few bug fixes (formally called
updates) and the OS folder Windows balooned to 2GB. Won't
make that mistake again.
I removed the temp files and the backups for the bug fixes
and the Windows folder now is at a magnificent 2.5GB.
This is starting to get frustrating. Why is the Windows
folder balooning? I added up the total size of all the
files, including hidded files, and come up with about
900MB. Where does the other 1.6GB come from?
TIA for any help.
Cheers!
