Have a Windows 2000 Server acting as a Domain controller with Exchange and
SQL Server installed. The OS partition is 9.7G in size. 'My Computer'
shows that 7.11G is in use, but if I select all files and folders the
properties show a total of 4.27G. I've ran checkdsk and defrag but no
change.

Any ideas?

TIA.

You overlooked various hidden files and folders, e.g. the
paging file. These tools might show you what's going on:

DriveUse:

Bullet Proof Folder sizes: http://www.foldersizes.com/

Thanks for the reponse.

I had set the option of view hidden files, I've also just run TreeSize which
reports back with the same values, and does list the pagefile.

Will the apps you mentioned offer more info than TreeSize?

Pete.
