Disk is not formatted

"Disk is not formatted

Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk might be corrupted, or it could
be using a format that is not compatible with Windows."

I m facing above error message.
- I have installed
1. XP Professional
2.Intervideo WinDVD player
3.Directx9.0
4.DVD codeces

But the problem is still there

Uhm..

Okay - you could tell us what disk, specifically, you are talking about that
Windows is telling you is not formatted. I would guess something to do with
the DVD (being you mentioned so many DVD things), but you never actually
said.
