I couldn't get this program to do anything useful. Part way through the
cataloging process it would come back with an error of something like
"Can't write to catalog. Make sure disk is not full or write-protected." I
had many GBs free. Tried on several different source and destination disks
with always the same result.

Strange. The author has a forum on his page, maybe he can help.

strange..I use/recomend/like it. Could be a filter hanging up on a file or
files. Try to make a new database and add catalogs to that without
filters.

When you catalog a new volume set "Profile describing files to be included
with content:" to 2. None, otherwise the program requires a volume on your
HD which is the same size as the DVD you are cataloging. If this temporary
volume resides on a FAT32 system you will receive this message when it trys
to span the 2gig FAT32 barrier. If your temporary volume is pointed to a
NTFS partition you will not receive this message.

Excellent program!

Not if you get errors in the manner described.
