Disk Defragmenter for D error

When i try to defrag my D drive I get the error:
’’Disk Defragmenter has detected that Chkdsk is scheduled to run on
the volume: Local Disk (D.
Please run Chkdsk/f.’’

please helf mee to fix this error
 
XP wants you to run Chkdsk/f before you defrag your "D" drive. Do you
have a "D" partition on your harddrive? It must have corrupt files on it.
 
If you have a D drive then right click on it and select
Properties->Tools->Error-checking-> Check Now button. check both boxes and
click Start. If necessary you may need to restart your computer at which
time CHKDSK will run.

To learn more about CHKDSK go to Startbutton->Help & Support and do a search
for it.
