Disk Cleanup Problem

I accidentally deleted things in More Options/Windows Components part of Disk
Cleanup. I lost my Wordpad and Games part of the Accessories & Utilities. I
also no longer have the volume control icon in my taskbar! I am not sure yet
what other things are missing. I can't find a list of what is supposed to be
there - after many hours of looking on websites. I can't do a system restore
because I also deleted all prior restore points! I am so mad at myself for
this ridiculous error as I always create a new restore point when doing
things on the computer! Is there anyway I can recover these lost components?
I have installed the Service Pack 2 so I don't think I can just put my
Windows XP Home CD in my puter and recover those programs or can I? I have
ordered the Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2 CD but that takes 4-6
weeks to arrive. Any help will be much appreciated.

THANKYOU!! I have a computer techie coming in to fix this problem for me. I also really needed to know if I could use my WindowsXP CD or if I had to use the WindowsXP Service Pack 2 CD? Even tho I have the techie coming in, someone else may need this question answered here, too. Thanks!

THANKYOU WESLEY - I WATCHED THE TECHIE AND HE DID EXACTLY WHAT YOU SUGGESTED.
IT'S DONE!!!

How about that. Glad you got it worked out!

Keep having fun! :-)
