DISK CLEANUP FREEZES - XP SO SLOW

Hi there
Disk clean up looks like it start off well but nothing
happens after the initial windows saying it will take a
few minutes to look for the files.

any help on fixing this? Many thanks

Also, so many error messages on Windows XP which I did
not have on Win98. And it's so slow, even though i still
have 15GB free space.

Any ideas anyone on how to make it run faster please?
