Mom got a new computer. I am trying to set it up so that
things will run at start up for her. I have tried
everything I can think of and I cannot get the disk
cleaner to run as a task in scheduled tasks. I have set
it to run at start up and also at login. Nothing seems to
work. It is a Dell already loaded with Windows XP. Any
help or ideas????

When you create a task, you are asked to provide a user
name and a password. Microsoft gives no exception for
this. Which is a pain. Because if you set name and
password, You'll be ask to enter that name and password
at each logon.

If you want to start disk cleaner each time your Mom logs
in, without using scheduled task :

one

First we have to copy cleanmgr.exe. As you normally do go
to start/accessories/system tools/ and right click disk
cleanup, Select properties, Select find target. Copy
cleanmgr.exe

two
Go to my computer
Select your hard drive
Open Documents and Settings\your user name\start
menu\programs\startup

Copy cleanmgr.exe here
