My computer trys to do a cold boot on its own, get through the POST then a message pops up "disk boot failure, insert system disk & press enter". I turn the computer off from the front, turn the switch on the back of the computer on off and then the push the button again on the front and everything is fine. But, this has now happened 3 times, could this be ram problem?

Hi Evelyn,

Download a drive diagnostic tool from the maker of your hard drive. You may
have a failing drive, and you should diagnose and correct this before it is
too late. The diagnostics are typically free and run from a bootable floppy.
Be careful, as some of the tests can erase data, read the instructions
before employing it.
