Hi,
I see "Disk boot failure, Insert system disk and enter"
error when starting up my Windows XP m/c. I have found the
Hard drive is OK. i get this error only a few times and
windows wont start.

any help is much appreciated.

sreekanta.

The BIOS has been changed to boot from a CD or a FLOPPY,
you need to go into BIOS and change your first boot to
HDD. this should work.

Yeah i have done that. but still i get this error. Looks
like the BIOS is not detecting my HDD. Sometimes it boots
OK (After a 1 hr break or so). i dont know exactly what is
going on with the boot.

thanks very much,
sreekanta.
