Hi

Not sure if this is hard or software problem.

I've a Dell Optiplex gx620. Not sure but I think it's got a built in
soundchip.

There is a major difference in the volume between the front & rear output
sockets.
Is there a way to increase the output to the rear one?

Cheers

The Driver/Support applet will have volume/balancing level support.
Also, the default view of Windows XP volume control may not show
all the mixer settings. Open the Volume control, Click Properties &
tic/check the appropriate mixer controls to be shown. Make sure the
volume control is set to display "Playback", not Recording.
