I dont know what to do with my disc C:/ it keeps saying that has not enough
space I keep uninstalling programs and I dont know how it fills up again...
please help me. I have norton antivirus and internet security, maybe I have a
virus... what can I do?

Patty,

Sorry to hear that. Try going to Start | Run then type CleanMgr and let the
wizard run. It will take a while to come up maybe even 30 minutes. When it's
done see how much space it will free up and then click ok to let it run.
After that run a defrag to clean up the fragmented disk space.

What is the capacity of the hard drive, how much is used and/or how much is
free?

If you use the web alot, you will fill up with cookies and temp files. Also
some installs leave files behind that should have been removed after the
install.

If you have never cleared out the IE temp and cookie folders, it's a very high
possibility that there are literally thousands of files that may take some time
to delete.
Right click on the IE icon on the Desktop.
Click Properties.
Under the General tab click the Delete Cookies button.
Click the Delete Files... button.

You may need to reboot to Safe Mode or simply reboot in order to delete any
files that may be in use.
Open either MyComputer or Explorer, navigate to and delete the contents of the
folders below.

c:\documents and settings\your user name folder\local settings\temp

c:\windows\prefetch

c:\windows\temp

If what he say is correct you may also want to change the location of your
internet temp folder. In internet options click on settings button > Move
folder and follow the steps.
