Any help is appreciated. I ran disc clean-up and found
this damaged ActiveX file. It appears to have been
damaged since day1. It seems like a critical file?
{90C9629E-CD32-11D3-BBFB-00105A1FOD68} Status: Damaged
Code Base:http://www.installengine.com/engine/isetup.cab
Version: 6,31,100,1190. Not sure what to do with it. I
didn't want to prematurely delete it. Windows XP Home,
Dell 8300. Also, I've had many problems with this
computer. Too many to go into.

If you have had too many problems to go into then this
newsgroup will be hard pushed to help you. Your best
course of action would be to:
- Disconnect the machine from the network/Internet
- Back up all your important data files (including EMail!)
- Boot the machine from your WinXP CD
- Allow the hard disk to be formatted
- Re-install WinXP
- Install a firewall and and a virus scanner
- Reconnect your machine to the network / Internet
- Re-install your applications
- Restore your data
