Disappearing System Tray Icons ?

My system tray icons keep disappearing ! I have unchecked "hide
inactive icons" in the taskber properties, and the other day a few of
them reappeared after a reboot, but then failed to appear after
subsequent reboots. The "hide inactive icons" box is still unchecked.
Please help ! Some of my apps wont work if I can't acces the system
tray...

Try disabling either the SSDP Discovery Service, the Universal Play and
Play service or both. Do this from Start | Run | services.msc | Ok. Go
to the service and disable it.
