disappearing reoccuring appointments

Sometimes while viewing another users calendar in Outlook 2003, the
reoccuring appointments do not show on the calendar. If I close outlook and
open it, they are there.
 
first the obvious - are you looking on the correct month? it's easy to
scroll to other months and never notice.
