Hello all,
I recently lost the partition where I keep my Outlook 2000 PST files. Since
I backup that partition every month on CDRWs I thought I had nothing to
worry about. I replaced the information on that partition, unlocked the
attributes (ATTRIB -R E:\*.* /S) and was shocked that there were no PST
files to import!
Naturally, there were years and years of very important emails and dozens of
email addresses in those PST files. Now there are none. Or that's what it
seems?!?!?
Can anyone 'splain what happened here? Why didn't the PST files get copied
during the backup process? Are they still there only hidden by some secret
MS procedure, encryption perhaps? How can this be?!
TIA,
Dave
