I'm using Outlook with a POP 3 mail server.

I opened it today and discovered all my Sent Items except the two most
recent messages were missing, and they are not in the Archive folder. I
believe I remember performing an Auto-Archive last night but I may be
mistaken. Any idea what went wrong?

Double check autoarchive properties for the folder to make sure they are
what you think they are...

My Sent Items folder under Archive Folders has sent messages from 6 months
ago, but it doesn't have anything newer. My Sent Items folder under Personal
Folders has 3 messages in it since yesterday. So, there are 6 months worth
of messages missing.

I've never heard of Outlook doing anything like that before.

There wouldn't happen to be a backup of the Outlook.pst file anywhere, would
there?

Outlook Express 6 -
As of 2 days ago, all of my inbox messages between mid March and mid-October
disappeared.
I have made no changes to OE, and done nothing else that I can figure out.
I'm the only one using my computer.

This isn't an Outlook Express newsgroup.
