Disappearing Links Icons

When I add a site to the Links toolbar often it has an
icon specific to that site. However, that icon frequently
disappears and reverts to a generic IE icon.

This happens when removing Temporary Internet files under
Tools>>Options. But it also seems to happen all by itself.

Is there a way to stop this behavior? THANKS MUCH! :)

search for FavOrg. This will do this job for you.

Known as "favicon"
When you clear the Temporary Internet Files
the favicon is cleared. If your TIF size is
small (1-5mb) then over time the favicon will
be kicked out in favor of new one.

Find these FREE programs:
FAVORG or FAVICONIZER
These will save the icons in a different
folder and fixes your favorites
with the favicon icons.

Mac,

Could you drop me an email as soon as possible? I'd like to discuss
something with you offline.

TIA!

Thank you. I have another ?. I don't mind running a prgram
to check for favicons (and even new/dead links) but I
don't want the prog running all the time.

Does either of these programs only run when you specify?
So I can run it, see what it updates and then close the
program. I just dont' want something running the
background if I don't have to.

THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR HELP :)
