How do you disable the logon screen? I've gone into user
accounts and only have the one (administrator) account set-
up, yet it always asks for password at start-up (even
though a password is not required to start-up).

I would just like to able to start-up my computer and have
it go through the booting up process without any
additional prompts necessary.

Download and install TweakUI:

Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP (TweakUI)
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

After installing, go to Start > Programs > PowerToys for Windows XP >
TweakUI. Expand "Logon", click on "Autologon" and place a check
next to "Log on automatically at system startup", then click "apply".
