Disabling email accounts

Hi. I would like to see in Outlook the ability to disable an email account.
ie:...like in Oulook Express one can check a box that disables the account.
This is handy if a person is having email server trouble and does not want to
delete the account until such time the problem is fixed. As it is now in
Outlook I must delete the account rather than just disable it. I hope I made
myself clear...

Tools -> Send and Receive Settings -> Define Send and Receive Groups ->
Edit the group(s) containing your account(s) -> Uncheck the box to check
that account.
