disabling auto-download without asking to open/download

When i download a .zip file with internet explorer, it automatically
downloads the file to temp then opens (yes i know this mean the smae as when
you click 'open' on the file) though i was just asking how can you make it so
it asks you to download the file again?

Goto Tools Folder Options click the file type and hit the advanced button and
check the confirm open after download option.
