I'm new to administration, but I'm the only one in my home
that is truely computer literate.

How do i go about not allowing a user to log on, but not
deleting their account (i have Home Edition).

In the 'account settings', i can't find anyting about
disabiling, jsut deleting.

Any suggestions?

lusrmgr.msc is a tool available in XP Pro that allows you to disable
accounts, but Home doesn't have that tool.

Try "net user <username> /active:no" from a command prompt.

Otherwise, change their password.
