If there is anybody out there that can help me disable the firewall on my
computer please help. When I go to network connections and try to click the
properties for the dial up it will not let me click on it. If there is
somebody that can help I would really appreciate it because I have homework
due soon and I have to to this task in order to get it done.

Why do you think you need to disable the firewall? How do you normally
connect to the Internet? You mentioned dialup - what ISP do you use?
Have you been able to connect before? If so, what changed? Please give
us more information about your setup, including your version of Windows
(Home or Pro) and Service Pack level.
