Disabled Monitor

I believe I have disabled my laptop screen while trying to attach a second monitor. Neither of the screens work right now, so I am unable to do anything when the computer turns on. Does anyone know how to correct this problem? Thank you.

Boot in safe mode (repeatedly pressing the F8 key while booting),
once there you'll be able to undo the changes you made and enable your
former monitor.
