HI Jonathan

I need to disable sendfile, video, voice, etc. from
registry. I only need send an Instant Message.

I have disable these function :

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Messenger\
Client]
"DisableFileTransfer"=dword:00000001
"DisableVideo"=dword:00000001
"DisableCollaborationApps"=dword:00000001
"DisablePC2PCAudio"=dword:00000001
"DisablePC2Phone"=dword:00000001
"DisableNM"=dword:00000001
"DisablePasswordStorage"=dword:00000001

but how to disable :
Go to Chat Room
Send A message to mobile device
Ask for remote Assistant

I also want to know : What Disable NM and
DisablePasswordStorage, DisablePC2Phone are for ?

Please your information

Regards

Darlie

Hi Darlie,

As for as I know, there is no registry keys for the chat room (although blocking chat.msn.com
elsewhere in your network will stop it), remote assistance, or the mobile device features.

Disable NM, disables the Netmeeting option, DisablePasswordStorage stops passwords from being
saved, and DisablePC2Phone disables the ".NET Voice" service (the Actions menu, "Make a Phone
Call" option).
