I run Windows Server 2003 SP1. I know how to disable the popup individually.
However, I have 75 users on the system. Is it possible to disable this
feature for ALL users at one time from one location?

Thanks.

1. Go to Start > Settings > Printers and Faxes
2. From the Toolbar select: File > Server Properties > Advanced
3. Uncheck "Show informational notifications for local printers", click Apply.

Thanks for your reply. I am familiar with disabling, however, I need to know
how to disable it for 75 users. I don't want to have to go to each terminal
and do this manually. Is there a policy that could be activated?

If you run a login script, this will be possible for all users.

Add this registry entry to the login script

write a value to the registry and put this in the login script

Hive
HKEY_CURRENT_USER

Key
Printers\Settings

Type
REG_DWORD

Value
EnableBalloonNotificationsRemote
