I need a registry hack to diable or remove XP Pro SP2 Firewall after SP2 has
been installed. stopping the service is not an option as it would also remove
connection sharing.I also cannot use group policies. Please help I don't want
to diable the wrong one and screw something up.The closest thing I have found
is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Security Center\FirewallOverride is
this the right one?

I've read this Microsoft article and find that it doesn't help me. Even after I do what it says, some windows firewall actions are still active in particular file and printer sharing. I need a way to disable the firewall completely. It's interfering with CISCO VPN Deterministic software. Even if I turn everything oaf and change the scope to internet vs subnet, The next time I reboot the firewall is partially back on. I'm behind a router based firewall which is the only type of firewall that will work with the VPN.
