Disable or remove an object frm CoolWebSearch

Somehow managed to get infected with Spy and Adware from a vendor called CoolWebSearch. One nasty object called d3dh.exe resides in the system32 folder .Niether Ad-ware by Lavasoft or Spybot can remove it, as it loads into memeory on start-up. It loads a home page into my browser that can't be totally removed by override.

Any help to get rid of this piece of s*** would be welcome.
 
Boot your computer into Safe Mode and run your cleaning tools from there.

Press F8 between the BIOS POST and XP actually starting to load. Log in with an Administrator level account. See Help and Support for more information on Safe Mode.
