DirectX Problems

Hello Sarah,

It would appear that you are using display adapter drivers which do not
enable hardware acceleration. Do you know what video card you have in your
computer?

Yes, it is NVIDIA GeForce Fx5200

Those drivers must not be installed; the error message states "the
system is using generic drivers". So you'll have to install the drivers
from the CD that came with the graphics card, or with the computer. You
could also try the computer site and the nVidia site.
 
Click on Start, Run, and type "MSCONFIG" - check to make sure everything is
set so that the system is starting up normally.
