DirectX 9.0b Download

Hi all

Could someone give me a link where I can download a copy of dirextx 9b which
I can then save to a disc and install on my friends computer, I searched for
directx on the microsoft site and found 2 downloads but I'm just not sure
which one is correct. One file was called dx90update_redist.exe and the
other was dxwebsetup.exe. I'm assuming the latter needs a web connection to
run and is not the full package on it's own. Thankyou for your help, it's
really appreciated.

It is the first one - that you find if you go to
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/search.aspx?displaylang=en
and take (currently) the second favorite download, 'DirectX 9.0b end
user run-time'. Then the link in 'Additional Information', where it
says "The DirectX 9.0b Redist is recommended for those user that do not
have Internet connection during installation".

It is about 35 MB, but is complete. The first one downloads a program
to run and then it expects to be on-line so as to download the rest
