Directory Service unavailable when installing a printer

Hello,

I have the problem, that when i wan't to browse the Directory (Active
Directory) to install a printer, I receive the message "Directory service is
currently unavailable".
When i wan't to set permissions on a File, i can't do it, neighter. My
Workstation cannot browse the directory.

This problem is only on my Workstation, on the others it works. The IP- and
DNS-Settings are DHCP enabled (the same configuration as the other PCs).

Do any know a solution of the problem?? Thx

Sounds like the domain is unavailable.
This is often a DNS issue.

Re-check that the workstation is pointing to an internal DNS server
which hosts the domain, not an external ISP one.

Is the domain controller pingable by it's full name, eg:

ping domain-controller01.mydomain.com
 
I checked all DNS settings before. Ping works!:
ping domain-controller --> works
ping domain-controller.domain-name --> works
ping domain-name --> works

Only the directory is on my workstation invisible.
Logon, Script, Files, Printers are all on the same domain controller and
works without problems on my workstation!!
