I have a directory on the root of my J: partition with many subdiectories and hundreds of files. The directory may have moved to a sub of another directory on the root, however, the files did not move with it. Using Disk Detective I find that the files are still listed in the NTFS system in their original location under J:\info.
If I try to access the new directory under Idapi/info, access is denied. Also under a dos prompt. I cannot look in the directory or move it. How do I recover the original directory name so that all the old files can be retrieved?
