I have Windows XP, DirectX 9.0b, and the latest driver
for my video card. When I run Dxdiag.exe, under the
display tab, direct draw, direct3d and agp texturing is
listed as "not available". Why is this?

What video card, what driver?

This is usually because the installed video card either does not support
these functions or they are not enabled on the video card. It may also be
because the video card needs an updated driver.

radeon 7000, the newest available driver from ati. I
recently installed xp. Before I was running 98. I never
had this problem until now.

I have had some problems with the 3.7 drivers as well. Seems the odd number
drivers are never as good as the even numbered ones:) I fixed it by running
the setup manually after the recommended way to install, forget exactly
where it is, hunt around a bit in your ATI folder.
