I downloaded the latest version of Direct X 9.0b . However, when I opened
the Direct X Diagnostic Tools, a box named "dxdiag.exe - Unable to Locate"
also opened up. Within that box, it also indicated that "netdtect.dll" could
not be found and suggested I re-install. I did re-install but the same box
notification as before camon ON again!

What am I doing wrong? Does it mean I'm missing a file "netdtect.dll"?
Please help correct my problem. Thanks.

Check in Windows\System32 for the dxdiag.exe file. Have no idea why you're
getting the message about netdtect.dll as it's a server file - not an XP
file:
