DIrect x problems

Make sure you are doing all the "Windows updates"
(especially the drivers update).

Write a tech email to Nvidia and see what they say.

always ends up "freezing" for brief moments. I run DXDiag
and test my Direct3d interfaces, direct x 7 interfaces work
fine, but when I load up 8, the spinning cube just STOPS
and my computer is frozen until the end of the test. I have
an Nvidia Geforce4 with the latest drivers, and the latest
direct x drivers. Anybody know how I can stop it from freezing?
 
Well, I have the latest updates, Nvidia doesnt offer tech
support because they SUCK! and my comptuer keeps freezing
now whenever I play a stupid game in FULL SCREEN. Im
tired of this windows junk. Why the hell is it doing
this, my computer has more then enough ram and
requirements for what I need to run. But it FREEZES for
30 seconds at at a time or longer. My CPU load jumps to
100%!
