direct X 9c signature logo not passed?

Hi,

Im running windows XP Pro and have just purchased Battlefield Vietnam. When
installing it needs to install Direct X9c. It goes throught most of the
process then says that it can't copy it because it hasn't passed Windows logo
testing. Then the installation stops.

I've tried to download the Direct x from the windows website but it does
exactly the same thing whne trying to install.

Can anyone help me?

This may of happened due to cryptographic services being disabled.

Firstly make sure you're logged on as an administrator.
Go to Start
-> Control Panel
-->Admin Tools
---> Services
----> Scroll down until you find Cryptographic Services, double click it and
set the start up type to automatic and start the service.

Thanks for your help Paul. But it is already set up as you have stated. Any
other possibilities?

thanks very much for the pointer to the knowledge article. From it I've been
able to solve my problem and Directx 9c is now installed on my computer.
