how the hell do I remove microsofts useless f##king
direct x 9 drivers without reinstalling my PC again. I
wouldn't mind but the program that installed (ms flight
sim 2004) the drivers didn't finish loading due to a
corrupt file (typical microsoft). Now a game I wish to
run won't work because ms screwed it up again & again &
again & again...

get your f##king act together microsoft or I think
everyone will F##K you off for linux!

Have you tweaked your system in any manner by shutting down any Services?
You'll get errors and the inability to install if Cryptographic Services has
been turned off.

In addition to what Chris said: If you're getting corruption errors from
your FS9 disc (ie the disc is faulty) take it back and get another one, in
the mean time you could always download DirectX 9 from
www.microsoft.com/directx You could also supply a bit more information
because your post is a bit vague.

Removing DirectX 9 isn't really an option if you intend to use any modern
games anyway, including FS9.

Judging from your attitude in this post I doubt you could even use Linux.

You can uninstall 9. actually what you are doing is resetting it back to 8
as what is on the CD. Already sent him the info offline. Just for the info.
