Direct X 9.0c with XP SP2

Hi,

I've stupidly installed Directx 9.0c without reading the requirement. I've
XP Pro with SP2 installed.

Now, the directx is not functioning anymore. Tried to re-installed but no
success. Can anybody help me?

System restore to a point before changes made.

Just out curiosity - what requirement are you missing?

SP2 comes with DX9c included. Running the DX90c installer accomplishes
nothing.
