direct connection to links in e-mails

I have Outlook 2003 on my computer. When I receive e-mails
containing links to the Internet I cannot directly connect
to that link. Do I have to change any configurations? I
would be glad for any hints!

What happens when you click a link in Outlook?
 
Hold the curser over the link. Press 'shift' key and then click on link.
Worked for me and took ages to find solution!
