I have a friend who has tried to send pictures on cd to her mother in Turkey
of her new babys. The disk works here but not over there. I guess that the
AC/DC current difference is the problem but how can I fix it so she can send
them. This might not be it so thats why I'm looking for help. Andbody have
any.
Thanks.

Power source is not an issue.

Is it a CD or DVD? If DVD, maybe the mother only has a CD (or vice-versa)
Maybe the mother's CD is older and can't read user-burned CD's
CD damaged in transit

Try sending the pictures by email
Zip the pictures into 1 file and upload to a free service that allows big files.

The type of software could also be an issue.

I have a number of old CDs that are useless to me now since
they were burned on Roxy or on InCD, and I am now using Nero
6.

She needs to be certain that the right type of "CD" is being
used, and with a compatible software.

As good as technology is today, there are still
compatibility issues.

Good luck!

I have Roxio on one pc and Nero on another and I can see cds I have burned
just fine on either pc. I can send it to my mom and she can see it also even
though she has no burning software on her pc.
If I burn a cd with either application and don't close it, I will not be
able to see it on the any pc except the one I burned it on. If I close the
cd, I can see it on any pc.
As good as technology is today, if you don't use it corrrectly, you will
have problems.
