Difficulty with a query/report

I have a query that pulls the # of individuals that are
admitted into prison. The query also pulls their Crime
Category and the date the crime was committed. From this
query, I have a report that groups the individuals by
Crime Category and by Month. Therfore, the report is
similar to:

Violent Crimes
