difficulties in saving e-mail documents to a CD

I am trying to save some important e-mails to a CD. I have saved downloads and images to a CD. Somehow I am not doing something right. I cannot save some of my e-mails to a CD. I named the CD and supposedly made it writeable.
 
And the email application that you are using is............ Fill in the
blank.
