I am trying to create a home network. This should be a no-brainer!

I have two computers connected via a network switch.

On one computer I run the Network Setup Wizard. When it is complete I
go to my Network Places, and click on MSHome. It stalls for a while and
finally comes up with a message that looks something like this:

"MSHome is not accessible. You might not have permission to use network
resources. Contact administrator.
The list of servers is not available."

I have tried determing the IP address but don't have much luck this way
either.

Tom,

This is either a firewall problem.

Or a browser conflict.

If no help yet, provide some details, so we can diagnose the problem.

Hi Chuck,

You fixed it! Thanks. I did other bits of scrambling around but I
think it was the firewall. Now I have to figure out how to switch on
the firewall again without losing the network.
