Different size pictures etc

Recently I had to format my hdd. I keep my display at 1024x768. Most web
pages look fine. Certain ones, like ebay and a couple others I visit often,
the web pages are larger kind of like I switched my display to 800x600. If I
go back to other web sites, the pictures, etc are normal. Any ideas on why
certain web pages are larger than others?

Some pages are written to fit within 800x600 screens, and others reflow
to fit the available space.

You can adjust the font size of many pages (using IE) by holding down
CTRL key and rotating your mouse wheel. (Also works on text in Microsoft
Office programs).
