I recently had the pain of reinstalling Windows and all programs. But that
was nothing compared to my current nightmare of trying to resetup outlook to
how it originally was with one profile having three dirfferent mail accounts
and working perfect. Now, I am able to setup the three accounts BUT all
emails are being delivered to the first account instead of their respective
accounts.

PLEASE ASSIST

Do you mean that all three email accounts are going to the one INBOX? if so
just create new folders for each account and set up a rule to move them.

Hi Gordon,

Thanks for your prompt reply. I am still puzzled by my outlook, as I had not
used/set any rules in my previous installation. Nor do the current rules
cater for: "putting emails sent to 'Account A' into the Account A's email
folder". Before, they were simply as is, different accounts within a single
profile, and each recieving emails sent specifically to them and stored in
their respective folders.

Thanking you for your assistance,
Chip

replied by email as well.

Ah, light begins to dawn! Then your previous email accounts must have been
either on an IMAP server, or through Exchange Server. Are your current
Accounts POP?

All acounts were given as and thus setup as POP, the primary one from my ISP
and the other two our company website (I dont know if it makes a a difference
but my ISP's incoming mail server is "pop3." etc, and our companys website's
incoming server is "mail." etc). Does this make a difference does this make
and/or what do you recommend?

yes, that's it. The Company mail, being "Mail" is through Exchange Server
and as such would have it's own set of folders whereas the POP account from
your ISP would automatically be delivered to local folders in your pst
file.

Unless you have one Exchange account and one POP account in your current
set-up, there is no way to separate the accounts other than by using a
Rule. (Unless you go to another email client like Mozilla Thunderbird where
you have that facility).

Thnks G!

...so without the use of rules, is there any other way I can at least set up
a profile to handle the two account (ISP & Company) ... I ask especially as I
had not specified nor used any rules in my previous setup. If not, what rule
can I ise. As both the addresses have the same username and basically handle
all business related messaging (with exception to the personal one also on my
company site). (ie: (e-mail address removed), (e-mail address removed), (e-mail address removed))

hope that aint too much of a headcahe, and thanking you again.
