differences between Word 2003 and Word 2002?

I am looking for the diffeences in Word 2003 and 2002 regarding specifics of
using the applications.
 
Suzanne - is there another place where the information is broken down into a
usable fashion? I am trying to find out what changed in Word 2003 that would
cause documents written in previous versions of Word to now no longer open.
This potentially could affect thousands of documents... Thank you.
