That's a lot of info for one post. Windows 9X uses the FAT system, 2000 and
XP use FAT or NTFS. 2000 and XP are far more stable than 9X. 2000 and XP
can join a domain. 9X "sort of" can, but not in the same way that 2000 and
XP can. 2000 and XP can be controlled by group policies, 9X can't. 9X is an
entirely different kernel or "core" than 2000 and XP.
As Mike Williams said, that's a pretty tall order for a posting. A lot would
depend on what the original poster is looking for. There are probably
thousands of differences depending on how granular we'd like to get, but
without knowing what prompted the original question and what the poster is
looking for I could spend most of the day describing the differences between
the different operating systems.
