Hi All
What is the diference between windows XP PRO Full Version and the Upgrade
version , being as the cost is $100. difference.

1) $100.00

2) No difference. You need proof of a previous version for the upgrade.
There is some discussion as to whether it is better to wipe your disk
clean before installing either. I did not, as I had many programs
already installed and did not want to reinstall every one. Works fine.

They both contain the identical software. There is only one
difference: both can do either an upgrade installation or a clean
installation, but to do a clean installation with the upgrade
version, you have to insert a previous qualifying version's CD as
proof of ownership when prompted to do so.
