Dialup interference

There's a joker, or bot, that keeps trying to get into my PC. Some dialup
at dial1.Houston1.Level3.net @ 4.230.186.32 address noted as intruder
attempt. Am on dialup myself. No big deal, ZA Pro blocks 'em. One thing
that does interfere with is header downloads of the ms news server. Header
download stops dead in its tracks when ZA notifies me of the intrusion
attempt. Sometimes affects IE web page downloads. Way to fix this?
